My Profile
Modeller T (Taro Tominari), born in Tokyo, 1957.
Since childhood, model making has been always my major hobby.
1993, set up Dynavector Air Models as a side line of the main business in England.
The main products were 1/48 scale aircrafts such as Fairy Gannet, Westland
Wyvern, DH Sea Vixen, TSR-2 etc.
All were vacuum formed multi material kits, and the production has exceeded
20,000 kits.
The master models, production moulds, package artworks were all done by
me.
2001, moved back to Tokyo with increasing neccessity to concentrate to the main business.
Air models are still in production as a side line.
2004, an evening of March, I was just wondering if I got any talent to
make an anime (manga) figure other than
aircraft models.
I worked with French Wax which I used to use for making white metal cating
moulds.
The result seemed to be tolerant as the first work.
Then my first figure model Wanda-chan was introduced as a complete kit at the Wonder Festival.
Since then, I enjoy making 2 or so figures every year, mostly as a hobby
and sometimes take commercial offers.
Making models from scratch is great fun in either side of scale models and figure models.
But, in my view there is a slight difference between them.
If you order 10 equally skilled modellers to make Zero-fighter planes,
you will get 10 exactly same Zeke's.
And, if you order Tinker-Bell in the same way, you will have 10 different Tinker-Bell's with all sort of poses,
shapes and faces, none would be the same.
Making figure models always require modellers to stretch their imagination.
It is the key essence ot the model making pleasure, I believe.

●はじめに．．．
当サイト、英語表記がウザイかと思いますがご容赦を｡
海外のフィギュア系BBSなどで「日本のフィギュアに興味があるけど日本語読めないから画像だけ見てるよ・・・」
と言うような書き込みを見かけたり、直接問合せをもらったりすることがあるので、日本のフィギュア文化を広める一助に
でもなればと、拙い英語での併記を努力している次第であります｡
●自己紹介
もでらーT 1957年東京生れ 後期中年ていうかもはや初老ですな。
幼稚園児のころからプラモデルに親しみ、模型少年として育つ｡
1993年、イギリス駐在中に副業としてダイナベクター･エアモデルズを起こし、バキューム・キットの開発製造を始める｡
以後、主に'50〜'60年代のイギリス海軍機を1/48スケールでキット化｡
ガネット、ワイバーン、シービクセンからTSR2までいろいろ発表｡
市場は欧米をメインに日本にも多数輸出してました｡
アニメ ｢ストラトス･フォー｣のTSR２のプロップにもなった｡(とは後で知ったｗ)
2001年、本業など諸事情を鑑み、15年の在英を終え帰国｡
エアモデルズは生産設備一切を本社に移設、生産を続けている・・・・が、以来新作は無し(´･ω･)
ちなみに累計生産数は20,000キット超えました。
バQはけっこう需要があるん（あった？）ですよ、実わ｡
2004年、3月のとある晩、初めて粘土(フレンチ･ワックス)でフィギュアのヘッドを作ってみたら、思いのほか
それらしいものが出来て自分で驚く｡
漫画やアニメのフィギュアを自分で作れたら楽しいだろうなと思いつつ、
長年、自分にその才は無いと思い込んでいたのでした。 もっと早く自分を試してみればよかったよ・・・
この年の夏ワンフェスで初フィギュアオレのワンダちゃんを発表｡
参加ディーラー名は、学漫時代のOB仲間と作ったあらあらこまった堂です。
以来、だいたい年２作のペースで新作作ってます｡ 発表･告知は主にMixiやｆｇにて。
フィギュアはもっぱら趣味として作ってますが、条件が合えば商業原型の依頼を引き受けることもあります。
商業原型の依頼を頂くのは光栄なんですが、本業があるんで納期の管理が大変なんですなぁ｡
作風としては、セミ･リアルを基調に立体的な顔と肉感的な肢体で妖艶な雰囲気を出すよう心がけてます｡
上品を装った老獪（ろうかい）なエロと言ったほうが早いっすかねw
これからもいろいろと造型表現チャレンジして行きたいので、よろしく見守ってやって下さいまし。 m(_ _)m
